I worked with George for 10 + yrs and he was a pleasure to work with. Kind and thoughtful comes to mind when I think of him. I would like to send my thoughts and prayers to his family.

So sorry to hear of Georges passing.I first met George when he was working part time at DJ’S Billiards on first street in Orangeville.The last time i saw him he sold me a watersoftner from Culligan on first street.He was a very friendly guy.Someone you could trust.He will be missed by many others besides myself.

George was a good neighbor of ours when we lived on Victoria street here in Orangeville. He would always come over and talk to us, he sometimes came over for a cup of tea. George used to make wishing wells for people to put in their back yards. I remember when he gave us one, it was really nice, we put flowers in it. I used to go over to his house for a game of pool or shoot some darts,those were good times, thank you George.
Our thoughts go out to George’s wife Alverna and their children, Susan, Brenda, Denise, Julie and of course all the the grand kids.

Dear Brenda and Eric the apple did not fall far from the tree as neighbours it’s comforting to know you live next door. I came to know dad from the hospital as a patient that always came in with something for the staff. His positive attitude and a friendly face all of us looked forward to seeing George. The help dad gave us with the backyard in the summer in the rain. A man that stood out, a life cut short before his time we can get comfort knowing our Heavenly Father feels our pain so hold on to his right hand and let him comfort you at this difficult time.

treatments and became very fond of him. His kindness and his
thoughtful ways were cherished by all of us! I am so sorry for your
loss and will always think of him often and with a smile.

Dear Alverna and family, I’m so sorry to hear that George has died. It seems like only yesterday u and I were walking the halls of CDDHS very slowly, hoping that cute fellow named George might notice u, and he did! I don’t think either one of u ever looked back. What a wonderful testament to your love. Of course u will miss him, as will we all, but u have a lifetime of wonderful memories to sustain u when things get u down.
