It was such a shock to hear he has passed away and so suddenly. May god give you the strength to carry on without Wally by your side. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Losing a loved one is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. It feels like fog casting a veil over your life. I want you to know it won’t always be that way. Wally was a worthy Brother Knight who will always be remembered fondly as he entertained us with his music during our Christmas social events throughout the years. I worked with Wally for a number of years at Chrysler Canada. He was very much admired as a Human Resources professional and earned the respect of management and unionized personnel in all of his assignments. Wally was a great team player at work and occasionally deployed his musical talents to break the tension during labour negotiations. I’m saddened to hear of his passing. The world could use more people like Wally. My condolences to his family and his network of friends.

I was shocked and saddened when I heard about the untimely passing of Wally Skrzydlewski. He was such a welcome figure every week-end, standing at the entrance of the church. When I saw him, I knew he was going to be active during the worship of the Eucharist. He often helped with ushering and loved to read the word of God from the lectern. Interestingly enough, a day of so ago I entered the sacristy of the church and checked the board where readers sign in. There was only one name: that of Wally.
May he now rejoice for ever in the warm embrace of a loving God. And may the Lord, who wept at the entrance of Lazarus’s grave, console and strengthen his family in this moment of deep mourning.

My sincere condolences to Lydia and your family. Wally was a fellow worker of mine at Chrysler for many years whom I respected for his dedication, humour and camaraderie. He will be missed dearly by the many people whose lives he touched.

My condolences to Wally’s family and friends. I went to high school with Wally (St. Mary’s College in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont) and really only knew him in that regard. I know he lived briefly in LaSalle where I live now. It is very sad to see a classmate pass away, especially at such a young age. All the best.
