Peacefully at the Vera Davis Center, Bolton, on Friday, November 27, 2015, with his family by his side, Vincent Merrick, in his 86th year, beloved husband of the late Phyllis Merrick. Loving father of Terri and Gary Adams, Larry and Liz Pato, Stephen and Trudy, David and Vesna. Adored grandpa of Kyle and Trish, Dean, Michael, Devin, Tyler and Inara, Mackenzie and Darryl, Andrea and Adolfo, Kevin and Whitney, Elyse, Stephanie, David, Taylor, Tyson, Alex, and Emma. Cherished great-grandfather of Drew, Bryson, Holton, and Mya.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Monday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7- 9 o’clock. Funeral mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 16066 The Gore Road, Caledon, on Tuesday morning, December 1, at 11 o’clock.
Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Schomberg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Vera Davis Center, 80 Allan Drive, Bolton L7E 1P7.

I’m so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. What a very difficult year it has been for your family. Sending Love, Comfort and Hugs. The sparkle in your Dad’s eyes dimmed when he didn’t have your Mom beside him. I enjoyed greeting him when he came for visits, then seeing them together each day. My heart is sad that I won’t see him again, but I now know that the sparkle is back in his eyes, shining bright as he is again with your Mom. My deepest and heart felt condolences. XO
