With the greatest of respect –

Feel no guilt in laughter, she’d know how much you care.
Feel no sorrow in a smile that she is not here to share.
You cannot grieve forever; she would not want you to.
She’d hope that you could carry on the way you always do.
So, talk about the good times and the way you showed you cared,
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared.
Let memories surround you, a word someone may say
Will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, a day,
That brings her back as clearly as though she were still here,
And fills you with the feeling that she is always near.
For if you keep those moments, you will never be apart
And she will live forever locked safely within your heart.

Dear Cathy, Debbie, David and families,
It is so sad that you have lost your Mum and Grandma, she loved you all dearly.
We met years ago at Aquafit and soon became friends, more recently until last year, we had Tuesday morning Lattes together where we would put the world to rights or just enjoy a good laugh. I am going to miss her.
Sincere sympathies, my thoughts are with you all at this very difficult time.
Carol & Keith Crowther and family.

Condolence from Kerry Wright on February 25th, 2015 8:51 pm

I would like to extend deepest sympathy and my most heart-felt condolences to Veronica’s family, friends and all those who loved, and were privileged to know her. I can’t begin to tell you how sad and greatly affected I am, in learning of her passing yesterday. I adore her as such a good soul and a wonderful JBJ colleague, with whom I, (and everyone else for that matter), hold in the highest regard. I have since moved to Ottawa yet I fondly recall Veronica’s devotion, trustworthiness, her spirit of generosity, genuineness, humour, and, of course, her calming, composed disposition. She had everybody’s back. She truly pays homage to Maya Angelou’s quote: “I have learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you do, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Veronica is within my heart always. It is reassuring to know that she was surrounded by the love of her family as she had wished. At such an unimaginably difficult time, I hope you may take comfort in knowing that Veronica was so dearly loved and admired. While no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, please know that you and your family are close in thought.
With love, Kerry Wright

To Veronica’s family which I know she cherished dearly. I am so sorry for your loss. Veronica was an amazing woman. She was always looking out for me, and giving me great words of wisdom. Veronica, was the kind of person who wasn’t afraid to speak out for those that couldn’t and you always knew where you stood with her. During the time I worked with Veronica, she was a huge asset to our office, so organized and detailed it made the transition we experienced so much easier. Her passion and dedication to her community were enormous. She truly had an amazing spirit and will be missed. Prayers to her family.

Vron was my Auntie and so I was lucky enough to have known her for as far back as I can remember. She was the most caring and positive person I think I’ve ever met. Always so much fun to be around and encouraging and full of love for her family. I can’t believe she’s gone. I’ve felt such a sense of loss since being told that she’d passed away. My thoughts and those of my family in the UK are with Cathy/Debbie and David and their families. Bless you Veronica. Will always love you and never ever forget you xx

Vron was our “go to girl!” Whether it was running ideas by her, figuring out a problem or just having a good old gab-session … she was a constant. I am truly saddened at hearing of her passing and send my heart-felt condolences to her family and loved ones. She was “one-of-a-kind” and I feel blessed that I had the opportunity to know her.
