At Brampton Civic Hospital, on Saturday, March 28, 2009, Verna Clarke, in her 92^nd year, beloved wife of the late Steven Thayer (1959).  Dear mother of Alan and Marie (deceased) Thayer, Donald Thayer, Brian Thayer, Marvin (Deke) and Elizabeth Thayer, Jeanette and Glenn Mottershead.  Lovingly remembered by 9 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren.  Dear sister of Elwyn and Cathy Clarke and predeceased by Donald Clarke and Hilda Ross.  The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S.
