Condolence from Ken and Christina Graham on September 26th, 2025 9:22 pm

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Carol, a wonderful lady I got to know as her son’s teacher. She was always kind, soft spoken, and very proud of Tony. The family had a wonderful pioneering history dating back to the creation of Stong College. Carol used to be a big part of Bolton’s Fall Fair and she will be missed. Ken and Christina Graham

I’m very sorry that we lost Carol, but comforted to think she is in a better place now. My condolences go out to the Swabey family and all who knew Carol. I’ll miss my Scrabble buddy.

Condolence from Brenda Heenan on September 28th, 2025 8:59 am

My deepest condolences to all Carol’s family and friends. I wasn’t able to attend her funeral, but have spent the last week recalling all the things we accomplished as friends over 30 years working together at the Bolton Horticultural Society and the Bolton Fair. We were flower buddies who loved orchids and succulents – the weirder the better. She was one of those rare people who had lots of good ideas and then took action to make them work. I will miss her.

Dianne, for some reason I was thinking of Carol and googled Egan’s and found her obituary. I am so sorry. Of course, I have many fond memories of Ken and Carol and her great love for flowers and Bolton Fair.

Condolence from Valerie Simpson-Francis on January 5th, 2026 3:20 pm

Sincere condolences from the Simpson Family to our neighbour across the road on Martha Cres. As kids, we always knew that we could go to your house for help if needed. You dropped everything and helped take Geoff to the hospital when he was a young boy and had an accident on our driveway. We have always been so very grateful for that.

Jacky, Geoff and Valerie Simpson
