Peacefully on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Oak Terrace, Orillia, Velda Goulter, at the age of 87 years, beloved wife of the late George Goulter. Loving mother of Linda Goulter, Rob and Marina Goulter, Marilyn Burgess and Rick Crowe, and Barry Goulter. Cherished grandmother of Andrea (Adil), Chris, Mike, Erin, Jessica (Kevin), David and Jacquie. Proud great-grandmother of Abby, Hailey, Chase, Cara, Briar, Jaxsen, and Kolton. Dear sister of Marie Schild and predeceased by Al Morgan, Geraldine Wright, Gord Morgan, and Joyce Fogden. Dear sister-in-law of Myrt Jackson, Lena Reid, and Jim Goulter.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Friday morning, February 3 from 11 o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 12 noon.

Sorry to learn of your mother`s passing. She lived a good life, now she rests with your father in a better place.
I recall the time when the relative families would gather at the residence of George & Velda, on Highway 50, families did that in those days.Many good memories , a good time ws had by all .

Wonderful lady
Very sad to hear of the passing of Velda ( mommy) who l really respected her, lovely woman. To her family who l am sure will miss her sense of humour & guidance she has gone to the better place.
Have missed our years going to Florida but never will leave my memories of all those special times.

I remember good times during our high school years at your home on 50 highway. George and Velda always had the welcome mat out for us teenagers. Also, George was always a big help to my mother, Reta, and me on Elm street, and later Barry.

Our sincerest sympathy is extended to the entire Goulter family after I heard of the passing of our dear friend Velda. We have so many cherished memories from being neighbors on Old King Rd. in the 70’s, our trip to BC in the 90’s and the many get togethers during the following 30 years. RIP Velda.
