I am so sorry Karen. I remember Tom as a wonderful host and gardener.
I’m saddened to hear about Tom’s passing. He was such a humble man who helped improve downtown Bolton.
All the Maclachlan family were together on the weekend and we took time to honour and fondly remember Tom. We are sending our prayers and love.

I’m very sorry for your loss. Tom was a great person.
Dear Karen,
I am working on a Nabonidus related project and was trying to get a hold of Tom’s PhD thesis which to my knowledge was never published. and saw this sad announcement of Tom’s passing. I am so sorry. I really enjoyed knowing the two of you in Birmingham what now seems like more than a lifetime ago. If you receive this note, please let me know. It would mean alot to me personally to hear from you, and maybe we can find a way to make Tom’s PhD thesis well known in wake of his passing.
All the best to you and your family always, Wayne
I never had the pleasure of meeting Tom Lee, but I have read some of his publications and just started to read his PhD dissertation on Nabonidus, the las king of Babylon. He was a great scholar. I can only hope that his memory will be a blessing for all those who knew him and whom he loved.
Take care
Gonzalo
