Peacefully at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, on Friday, November 22, 2024, Tessa Barthorpe (nee Comrie), at the age of 66 years, beloved wife of the late Glenn Barthorpe (July 2023). Loving mother of Trudy (deceased 2015), and George. Cherished Nanny of Amyee, Alissa, Kaden, Patrick and predeceased by Edward (1998). Predeceased by her parents John and Georgina Comrie. Fondly remembered by her siblings and their families.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Saturday, November 30 from one o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 o’clock.
Followed by cremation.

As one of George’s old teachers, I feel sorry for his loss of both fun loving devoted parents, Glenn and now Tessa, within a couple of years, I share your grief George.
Rest in peace auntie Tessa .. my sincere condolences to all of my family members especially Tessa’s son George and all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
