Condolence from Trish & Henry on October 26th, 2011 5:28 pm

There were so many special times spent with the Malcher family, so many wonderful memories at so many arenas, those years ago. I can’t think of that time in our lives without remembering how much fun we hand, how kind and involved both of you were. Whether it was primitive texting late at night to convey game results,(ICQ!) or hanging out in rinks all over Ontario, and Switzerlan, a quick scan up into the stands, we always knew where to look…Terry would be there….next to the stairs surrounded by vacant seats… He has been taken long before his time…… Lyn, Kim and Kelly, to each you, and your families, we extend a warm hug and send our most sincere condolences. You are in our thoughts and prayers,
In sympathy and friendship, Trish & Henry

Terry is and will always be known in the same way to everyone that was fortunate enough to meet him. A calm and gentle man always willing to stop and chat as well as listen to whatever it was you had to say. Our family is fortunate enough to have known him and be influenced not only by his charm, but also the charm that he helped to develop in his children and grandchild(ren). Terry, with his lovely wife Lyn always demonstrated such friendship and love and without knowing it modelled this behaviour to so many of us. We are glad to have been priviledged enough to get to know him and firmly believe that he is smiling at his beautiful family and the true character he left for all of us to see.

There are very few people we meet in our lifetime that radiate a special inherent charm, which appeals to us all. Quiet and unassuming, but always with that disarming smile, Terry was a man that was easy to like. And, few of us could match his love of family. Our times together were short, but will be remembered with great fondness.
