Peacefully, at his retirement home on Friday, October 24, 2025, Terry Flanagan passed away at the age of 82. Beloved husband and best friend of Ann for 60 wonderful years. Loving father of Deb, Sheryl (Dean, deceased), Jamie (Joanne). Cherished grandpa of Brandon, Logan (Ciera), Emma, and Liam. Proud great-grandpa of Charlie Jocie.

Terry lived a life filled with love, laughter, and loyalty. For more than 30 years, he was a dedicated member of Ford Motor Company, known for his strong work ethic, and willingness to lend a hand.  When he wasn’t at work, he could be found on the golf course with many good friends, in a hockey arena, tinkering in the garage or teaching yet another nervous youngster how to waterski at the beloved lake.

Terry is predeceased by his parents William and Alice and is the dear brother of the late Peter Flanagan, Isobel (Gord) Wilder, Bill Flanagan, Ann (Ron) Coffey, and Sister Margaret (Peggy) Flanagan. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Monday, November 3, 2025 from one o’clock until time of memorial service in the chapel at 2 o’clock. Followed by a reception at the funeral home.

All my memories of Terry (and Ann) are at Williams Lake. Terry was always there with a warm smile, and calm demeanour to get us back on a bike, or back on skis during each summer of fun. I’m blessed to have known Terry and the entire extended Flanagan family. May all your memories be as heart warming as mine are.

Condolence from Peggy King on October 31st, 2025 1:03 pm

We were all so fortunate to have Uncle Terry as an Uncle and a Great Uncle. Mary still brags about getting up on the skis with the coaching and support of her Great Uncle Terry. Me too. It was always a summer highlight to be pulled behind the boat with Uncle Terry carefully watching as he safely towed us around Williams Lake. As children we grew up with Uncle Terry living with us for a period of time, and then, being knocked out by the beauty and grace of Auntie Ann when she came into his life. Lucky Terry, and lucky us. Our deepest sympathy to Aunt Ann, Deb, Sheryl, Jamie and family. Deepest sympathy to their legions of friends who were lucky enough to be friends with Terry. With love and gratitude, Peggy, Robert, Mary and Lawrence King.
