We are so incredibly sad and heartbroken. Terry was such a great guy. Always very welcoming, warm and so down to earth. We were lucky to spend some time at the cottage when the boys were small…fishing, telling ghost stories and listening to music around the campfire. Those memories will be with us forever. My heart is broken about what you are going through. I met Terry in elementary school when we lived on the same street. We were best friends all through school and he even lived with my family for a few years in high school. I have been away for the past 20 years but whenever I came home, we would get together and pick up right where we left off.
When we lose someone like this it is the ones that are left behind that have to bear the loss. Khrista, I wish I could be there to help you during this difficult time. One good thing about me being on the other side of the world is, if you can’t sleep at night thinking about Terry and everyone where you are is asleep. Our dearest family friend Terry… what can we say… anyone who was honoured to be in your presence knows just how amazing you were. Our families had the privilege of sharing some funtastic times together in Disney World, Disney Cruise and Windsor, but our favourite place away from home was the Deamer 5 star Cottage!! This is where we all could relax and enjoy life to the fullest as nature was your paradise. Rides on the boat, fishing with the kids, sea doing, swimming in the lake, tubing and smores by the fire all while listening to our favourite 80s beats. Time has stood still now and we are forced to carry on as we all know you would only want us to celebrate the legacy you have left behind.
Khrista, Tanner, Maddux and our Godson Carson… we are here for all of you during the difficult journey ahead. We will continue to travel and make new memories as Terry is watching over us celebrating with a beer in his hand and singing all his favourite songs. I am not sure if you remember us Logan was at the Children’s castle with Maddux, I was so sorry to hear about Terry’s passing I will always remember how friendly and kind he was

I had the pleasure of knowing Terry and working with him for several years at McLarens Canada and Granite Claims. Terry was passionate about his career and excellent at it. He was even more passionate about his family and spoke of his wife and children at every opportunity. We worked quite closely together and had some good fun along the way. I always enjoyed hearing his Monday morning recount of the weekends spent up at his cottage with his wife and 3 boys. Terry was also very generous with his time, and helped me during the period I was building my cottage up north. He had first hand knowledge of this. He was just such a genuinely good person. To the Deamer family, please accept my sincerest condolences. Terry will be greatly missed by many who’s lives he touched.
