At Holland Christian Homes, Faith Manor, Brampton, on Thursday, April 4, 2024, Terry Babin (nee Doucette), at the age of 95 years, beloved wife of the late Ron Babin (February 2008), passed peacefully with family at her side.
Originally from Charlottetown, PEI, she was a true original Bolton villager since the 50’s. After supporting husband Ron at the family business (Bolton Plumbing & Heating) for a number of years she went on to be a loyal Canadian Tire employee starting at the original downtown location (Queen & Mill) where she met a crew of new friends. Loved to play cards, bingo and hit the casino once in a while (with her purse full with her $30).
Loving mother of Mike (Linda), Bruce (Anita), Steve, and Susan (Steve Ceballo). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jennifer, Danielle, Brooke, Daniel, Nicole, Courtney, Jeffery, Hailey, Matthew, Stephen, Kaila, and Tyler, and twelve great-grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Henry, Edgar (Enid), and Thelma (Earl Spinner). Terry will also be greatly missed by her remaining close friends from the Bolton area and extended family in PEI.
Many thanks for the loving support (including many walks) from all the great staff on the Windmill home area care team at Faith Manor, Holland Christian Homes in Brampton.
The family will receive their family and friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton on Tuesday morning, April 9th from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. then departing the funeral home for a Funeral Mass in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton at 11 o’clock. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton. Celebration of Life reception to follow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express their sympathy are encouraged to consider donating to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada. To all the Babin Family….we can’t express how sorry we are for your loss of Terry. Your wonderful mom was such a caring and kind person. For so many years she has been a part of the Morandi family. From our early hockey days in Bolton to joining us on Christmas eves with us later … so many wonderful memories. She is now an angel among the stars. We will always remember the laughs, the singing the dancing and so much more. She’ll continue to always have a place in our hearts. We will miss her but will cherish all the memories.

My deepest sympathy to the Babin Family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Your Mom was such a lovely lady. It just seems like yesterday the Babins, Berbericks and Boivins all lived side by side in Bolton. It’s an end of an era now. They were all such great neighbours back then. Now Terry has joined them all in heaven. God Bless.

Although our family visits were far and few between, I do recall a couple visits. Once while we traveled to Maine from CA and another when you all come to Maine. Good times!

With her contagious smile & warm disposition, Terry was an absolute joy to be around. My sincere condolences to her family & many friends.
Sincere condolences to Steve and family, I fondly remember working with Mrs Babin and laugh at the errors of the CTC. Terry and I would try and locate a stock item for customers. RIP Mrs Babin.

We have missed Terry since she left our Stationview Seniors Program. Just not the same without her quick wit, smiley eyes and keen interest in all our activities.

I will always remember Terry cheering on a family member at the arena when the boys would be scoring for the Bolton teams.
