Uncle Ted was my father Robert’s youngest brother . I remember him as a fun uncle always a smile . He will be greatly missed but many are not blessed with 96 years
Thanks to Candy and Steve who cared for him Blessings to all the Derbyshire Family
Sorry to hear of your families loss, thinking of you’se, sincerely Don & Sandra B
Sending sincere condolences to Ted’s family and loved ones.
Uncle Ted will be sorely missed. He was the last of the three brothers. My favourite story about him is that my Dad was too shy to ask my Mom out to the town dance, so Uncle Ted did it for him!! The three brothers had many adventures growing up and are all together again. Bless you all.
I wonder if you guys know the story that organized Minor Hockey in Bolton was started by : Ted Derbyshire :
Howie Bulloch and Len Taylor.
Sincere condolences to all.
Steve, Candy and Family….You are in our thoughts and prayers at this time.

Dear Steve and Candy & Family
My respect for and memories of your Family goes back to a visit to your Grand Father’s Dental Office and then later, the opportunity to get to know your Dad and brother Bob. Not only was Ted involved playing and organizing at the hockey rink, his talents were shared on the Softball Diamond, during the days of the Peel/York Softball League. A real gentleman, whose leadership and enthusiasm, when we were getting the building of the Community Centre off the ground, will never be forgotten. All positive and cherished memories.
My condolences, may Ted rest in peace.
Steve & Candy, Jeff, Cindy, Chris & families. Our sincere condolences on the loss of your father. We have many good memories of Ted, Dan from his childhood on, right until their last chat at the mailbox, as was my last talk with him a few years ago.
He was always pleasant & had a big smile & a wave when he would pass us in the car.
He’s lived a good long & fairly healthy life.
Cherish all the precious memories he left behind.
Steve, Candy and family
