It is with unyielding sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Tammi Gislason, in her 58th year, in Caledon, on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
Her life was one marked by compassion, an abundance of love for her family and friends, and unwavering generosity. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, coworkers and many more whose lives were touched by her. She had an infectious laugh and radiated an overwhelming warmth. Tammi had a profound impact on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Tammi worked as a Controller and headed the company’s Human Resources department. She went above and beyond for her coworkers and staff and strived to make everyone feel like part of one big family.
Beloved wife of David Gislason. Loving mother of Callahan and Brendan. Proud grandmother of Kaiden and Karson. Cherished daughter of the late Doug and Bunny Chalk. Treasured sister of Gary Jeninga (deceased), Kimberly Graber, and Adam Chalk. Caring sister-in-law of Ian and Cindy Gislason. Dear niece of Ruth and Frank Costello. Tammi will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Krista Gislason, Emma Graber, Jordan Chalk, Nathan Chalk, and Aria Chalk.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S. (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Friday, August 1 from 4:00-8:00 pm and Saturday, August 2 from 10:00-11:00 am. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday morning, August 2nd at 11 o’clock. Followed by cremation.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to Bethell Hospice Foundation or the charity of your choice.

I can’t imagine what Tammi’s family is feeling. Tammi was one of the true professionals I have had the pleasure to deal with over the years. So smart and loved what she did and working with the Gerrity family. As a supplier, she always treated me with kindness and respect. I will miss our spirited conversations and her knowledge. I am shocked and saddened beyond words. She will be missed by many more than me.

This is “Auntie Wa” and family. We are sending our condolences to you all. I am so sorry it has taken time to write this. I am still shocked at the news of Tammi’s untimely passing, I have known Tammi since she was a little girl; I watched her grow into such a beautiful strong woman.
