Peacefully at St. Catharines Hospital on Sunday, May 26, 2013, Sue Pilson (nee Contreras), St. Catharines, formerly of Bolton, in her 89th year, beloved wife of the late Louis C. Pilson. Loving mother of Theresa and Wayne Stoddart, St. Catharines; Ken and Diana Pilson, Surrey, British Columbia; Lorrie and Carmine Pitoscia, Mississauga and predeceased by Susan. Fondly remembered by 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton on Wednesday evening, May 29 from 7 to 9 o’clock. Memorial service will be held in St. John’s Anglican Church, 80 Main Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, May 30 at 12 noon. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, 403 Ontario Street, St. CatharinesL2N 1L5, or St. John’s Anglican Church, 80 Main Street, St. CatharinesL2N 4V2. Sorry to hear of Sue’s passing. We were neighbours of the Pilson family, living down around the corner from them. Can remember when Theresa and Sue came home, such excitement.

I consider this both a time of mourning and a celebration as well. We mourn for Susie’s passing but we celebrate her life that she lived to the fullest without regrets. Her happiness can be clearly shown in the love of her children who have ever been so faithful and loving to her. Goodbye and welcome Susie. Goodbye to human life but the Almighty will welcome you to eternal life.
