I am deeply saddened to hear of Susan’s passing. I knew both Denis and Susan as customers of mine over the years at the Bolton LCBO. When Denis passed, Susan and I always talked of him. She was the sweetest, even coming to let me know that she had sold her house in Bolton and was on to her next journey. When she would come back in to town, she would always pop by and let me know what was going on in her life. Even though I left that store and moved on to another, I often thought of her and her bigger than life personality. She and Denis will forever hold a special place in my heart as a favourite customer. RIP and my sincere condolences to her family

Aunt Susan was the “cool aunt” because I could talk to her about anything but also because she stayed young all her life. Even if she was disapproving of something, she still found a way for the two of us to laugh together at the end of the conversation. I always looked forward to her visits because I knew our home would be filled with laughter as long as she was around. Later in life when I didn’t get to see her as much, Aunt Susan was still sure to keep in touch and give advice over the phone. Uncle Denis and Aunt Susan were so hip together, but most of all – so in love. I saw it even as a little kid. Then they showered more of that love onto Shannon. I wish I had more time with Aunt Susan. The entire Finn family is so aggrieved at losing her. Thanks for all the fun and love, Aunt Susan. X O X O Colleen

There are no words to make the hurt go away. So sorry to hear this about Sue.
There are a handful of “moms” growing up in my life that I held dear in my heart and Sue was and still will always be one of them to this day. She was always fun and bubbly and I loved being around her. She was always smiling which would make me constantly smile through conversation. I always have her voice in my head, especially the way she would look at you and say “SHANNON” weather good or you were in trouble. You guys were so close and I loved seeing that. Cherish all the memories and smile about them.

Our regular get togethers will not be the same without her since she was the heart of our little group. You’ve been a loving and dutiful daughter always especially during the weeks of her hospitalization. During the last weeks I kept thinking how vivacious and loving she was. I knew Susan Finn as a customer at Zehrs for many many years . She was a beautiful lady, I always loved her style. She was always so wonderful to everyone in the store, to me that says so much about someone. She was so wonderful. So sorry for your loss.

I am so sad to hear about Sue’s passing. I knew her in high school and when we moved out to the lake, I met Dennis. I am sorry we never got to meet for Lunch Sue.

I worked with Susan about 15 years at Starplex. She was a very dear friend to me. We had so many fun chats together, shared so many good and sad moments. She was an example of positivity. I’ve never met such a warm and positive soul in my life. Her laughter could be heard from a distance, and always brighten the room when she entered. I loved her so much. Her passing broke my heart, and I can’t believe to this day that we won’t be able to see her and hear her loud and warm laughter again. My heart goes especially to her beloved daughter, Shannon and her partner, Jim and her other relatives and friends. We lost a great friend. Rest in peace my dearest.

Shannon, I was lucky to get to know your mom during my days as a Co-worker at Starplex Scientific. Her laughter and smile were infectious. I used to love to clear the walk way so she wouldn’t fall in winter, while she was walking with her cane. She will be dearly missed by her friends at Starplex, though her memory will forever be in our hearts.

We all have such fond memories of Susan and the joy she gave us all. She had such a sense of fun and lit up every room she entered. She had a real ability to make everyone she met feel happy.
We have a lifetime of stories to remember her by, from the times visiting us in England and the times we spent staying with you all in Canada. The last time we spoke we were trying to persuade Susan and Jim to come over to see us all again.
