1948-2023
Peacefully and surrounded by his family on Monday, March 20, 2023, at Brampton Civic Hospital, Steven Norman South, in his 75th year. Steven will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife of 43 years, Susan South (Martin). Cherished father of Stephanie South and Stacey Maiezza (Jeffrey). Proud grandfather of Avery Maiezza. Loving brother of Donna South (Peter Futas). Predeceased by his parents, Glenn South and Cora Anthony; nephew, Jesse Futas.
The family will receive their family and friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton on Saturday morning, April 1 from 11 o’clock until time of the memorial service in the chapel at 12 o’clock. Following the service, there will be a lunch reception at the funeral home. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or any tree planting organization. My deepest condolences to Steve ‘s family. Have so many great memories of him at work and our fishing
trips. Some of those weekends we actually did some fishing.
I have lots of fond memories of Steve from working with him for over 25 years in the pressroom. He was well liked and admired by his co- workers and he leaves behind great memories of him that will last our lifetimes. My sincere condolences go out to the family at this difficult time.

I’ve worked in the press department with Steve for around 6 years he was a great person may he Rest In Peace and my condolences to his family

We were deeply saddened to hear about Steven’s passing. Although we didn’t see each other often I carry very fond memories of family fishing trips and backyard get togethers.
