Patterson Stephen Web

December 23, 1945 – January 8, 2022

Steve Patterson, father, partner, brother and friend, passed away on January 8, 2022 in the privacy of his own home.

Steve will be lovingly remembered by his children Keith and Lesley, his life partner Cindy and her children Katie & Ryan.

Anyone who knew Steve knew how much family meant to him and about his passion for genealogy.

He was very proud of serving his country in the Navy on the HMCS Bonaventure in the 60s and equally passionate about history, old cars, rock n’ roll music and enjoying the company of his friends on the dance floor. When the weather permitted, you could always find him outside in his garden caring for the plants and birds that brought him joy. He will forever be remembered for his kind nature, his words of advice and his love for his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Daisy and George Patterson and his sister Chris Patterson.

He is survived by his siblings Tisha Sprung, Mike Patterson, Georgia Stevens and their families.

I’m so very sorry for your loss. Every memory I have of your dad is a good one. He was a lot of fun, so very kind, and such a great dad. He took me on my first trip to the US and always made me feel at home when I was at your house. He leaves behind a legacy in you and Keith and his memory will live on in everyone he knew. May he rest in peace. Sending you all lots of love.
