Stanley Donald Mavin passed peacefully with his loving family by his side, at AgeCare Aurora on Sunday, August 2, 2026.  Stanley, at the age of 95 years, was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Byrne-Mavin and the late Annie Mavin.  He was the loving father of Terry (Paula), step-father of Brenda (Rob) and Michael (Tracey).  He will be missed by his grandchildren and his great-grandsons.  

Stanley was a caring, loving, hard working and generous man.  He retired many years ago from Chrysler Canada where he worked as a dedicated employee.  During his retirement years, up until Alzheimer’s changed his world, Stanley enjoyed a peaceful and happy life.  He was adored by his wife Elizabeth and they spent many happy years traveling together and enjoying a wonderful life.  His calm, peaceful personality was a blessing to all that knew him and he will be forever in our hearts and missed greatly. 

Honouring Stanley’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be a service.
