I well remember Shirley as a person with a kind heart. She would minister to my ailing mother. As next door neighbours, we would be brought in for meals while my mom was in hospital. You may not remember, but Dad built your mom’s and dad’a home when they moved to Nobleton. They always stayed in touch with our parents and were very much respected in the community. I know it broke her heart to sell in Nobleton, but quickly fit into the seniors building in Schomberg. Shirley and I met regularly Saturday mornings at Foodland, two seniors helping each other seek out the specials. We will miss her greatly, but not nearly as much as your family will. Our sympathy.

I was so very sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. She was a wonderful, friendly and happy person and I always enjoyed meeting and talking to her. She will be missed.

To John. Anne and family; Please accept our sympathy. Shirley was a wonderful lady; always a smile and maybe a funny little comment. We remember many good times at the old arena and at the house after with your Mom and Dad.

I knew Shirley from Nobleton where she worked at the pharmacy. A lovely lady who always had a smile and a kind word. Last time I spoke to her she was moving to the manor in Schomberg. I will miss her greatly, as one of the kindest, gentlest woman I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. May the love and support of friends and community be a comfort to her family.
