She always leaned to watch for us,

Mike and I would like to send our condolences to the Douglas Family. It doesn’t matter what age you are, when you loose your mom it’s always heart breaking. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.

During Dick’s valued time with the chorus, Shirley was one of our (and Dick;s) most dedicated supporters. We shall not forget Shirley, as we have not forgotten Dick. May she now rest in peace!

As a fellow member of the PROBUS Club of Aurora, I had the opportunity to speak with Shirley on many occasions. She was truly a genuine and vibrant person to converse with and a valued friend. She will be missed at the meetings, as was Dick. Condolences to the Douglas family from my wife Carily and I. I was very saddened to hear of Shirley’s death. It was such a pleasure seeing her especially at our choir’s concerts.

Im so sorry to learn of your Moms passing. Your family did a great job of looking after her, and she lived a full life. I’m sure she has a lot of love for all of you and pride in the family she created.

I met Shirley about 10 years ago at a function at the Aurora Seniors Centre, I then joined the Evergreen Choir and discovered Shirley and Dick were members. They were both fun to know, and I was very sad when Dick died, but I am happy that Shirley, at last, will join him. They will sing and have fun together.
