Shane McMullan, who was in his 42nd year, passed away in Vancouver, BC. He was the beloved son of Aurora (Ugolini) and John McMullan and the late Diana McMullan. Shane will be greatly missed by his son, Noah McMullan, who meant the world to him.
Shane was a cherished brother of David (Nora), John (Susan), Ryan, Mitchell, Bryanna, and Makayla. He held a special place in the heart of his nephew, Zayden. Shane’s warmth, love, and presence will be fondly remembered by his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and his many friends.
During his life, Shane touched the lives of those around him with his kindness, humor, and generosity. He will be remembered for his infectious laughter and his ability to light up any room he entered. Shane had a deep love for his family and friends, and he always went out of his way to make them feel special and loved.
The loss of Shane leaves a significant void in the lives of those who loved him. As they come to terms with his passing, may they find solace in the cherished memories they shared and in the knowledge that Shane’s spirit will live on in their hearts forever.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton, on Tuesday morning, July 25, 2023 at 11 o’clock, with a burial of cremated remains at Laurel Hill Cemetery to follow.

What can one say on the loss of the sweet altar boy at my wedding mass?
Heartbreak but happy to recall my last conversation with him.
Aunt Aurora, uncle John and loved ones, we are by your side albeit far.
Although the circumstances don’t allow travel to be with you in time for the funeral mass a more personal visit later on is in the plans.

You were always there for me Shane growing up any time I needed a big brother to talk. You would be there. You had your and downs in life but your heart your sense of humor. The way you would protect the ones you loved when you had to.
I am going to miss you and will always love you brother until I see you again.
No words can ease the pain you are going through. We all feel the pain in the loss of a child . Keeping your family in our prayers and thoughts.
