Suddenly, on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, Sam passed away at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, Vaughan, at the age of 58, beloved husband of Jeanne Gonyeau-Trani. Loving father of Sonya and her partner Matthew. Cherished son of Saverio and Dilia Trani. Dear brother of Maurizio and his wife Maria, Laurie and her husband. Loving Zio of Sabrina and Alessandra, Brittney and Chantel.
Visitation will be held at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street South (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Monday afternoon 2-4 and evening 6-8 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday morning, March 22 at 11:30 o’clock. Entombment Beechwood Cemetery, Vaughan.
The family would like to give thanks to the wonderful staff, doctors and nurses of Headwaters Health Care Centre Dialysis Unit for all their care for 18 years. Sam was a wonderful husband to Jeanne and a wonderful person all ’round.
He will be sorely missed at Dickens family functions.
Jeanne, please stay strong. You will come out of this better for knowing and loving Sam.

I cared for Sebastian for 10 years at Headwaters. He was a very kind soul. I will miss him dearly. My sincerest condolences to Jeanne and his daughter. He spoke very highly of both of you.
