Paul passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Brampton Civic Hospital at the age of 53 years, surrounded by members of his family. He was the beloved son of the late Samuel and Doreen Jones, Palgrave. Cherished brother of Doris Lynn and her husband Kavasji (Bob) Homji, Dixie Lee Jones, Dawn and her husband Stephen Briggs. Dear uncle to Hunter and Quentin Briggs and Cara Balazs.

Paul’s parents and family dedicated themselves to his wellbeing. He knew he was always loved.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful people who cared for Paul at Brampton Caledon Community Living since he began living there at the age of 21 years. He touched many hearts with his gentle ways as they diligently attended to his needs. He had a special charm and warmth about him that endeared him to all who knew him. He will be very much missed by his friends at Rutherford day program. Paul led a full life and was always ready to party. He loved Rock and Roll music; Elvis in particular, watching Flintstones on his DVD, and going to restaurants. By his mere presence he spread joy and happiness to those around him.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Thursday evening 7 – 9 o’clock.

It is with deepest sympathy That I write this. It has been an absolute blessing, and honour working with Paul for many years at Rutherford.

His heartfelt and loving personality was cherished by so many. His laughter was so enchanting alongside his angelic smile, that whenever Paul walked into a room, everything and everyone would instantly light up!

Words cannot describe how deeply you will be missed Paul, for God has gained another Angel.

Forever in our hearts and minds you will be missed our friend!

God bless you and your family. Until we meet again, rest in heavenly peace our friend.

With Love;

Rachel Bryan-Maloney

To all our cousins,
So sorry to hear of your loss. It is with great sadness that we have to send this message, but remembering Paul also brings back wonderful memories and many smiles. We all can remember him sitting in Grandma and Grandpa’s kitchen (Len and Ev) having a little visit and also a must needed treat. He loved them both, just as much as they loved him. May you always cherish the wonderful memories of a person so full of life and perseverance. May we all take a lesson from Paul, to stop and smell the roses and take time for those that we love. Hugs to all…
Gord & Nedyene Doney
