To the Atkinson family, I’m sorry to hear of Roys’s passing. I’m sure he will be missed ..

Roy Atkinson was a neighbor and a friend of the Cairns family. Many happy times were shared in activities of farming and snowmobiling. Roy continued the friendship by visiting in Muskoka in the last years , My condolence to all the families of Roy and Serina . Memories of Roy will always be in our hearts, and we know his family will surely miss him. He was a long-time neighbour when we lived close to each other near Bolton, and he and Serina surprised us with visits to Kakabeka Falls a number of times. Luckily, we were always home! There are many fond memories of Roy, Serina and family while at the farm in Palmerston.
Roy and Serina greeted many people around the big wooden table in the kitchen. Those visitors never left without a hot coffee and something to eat. They were excellent hosts.
I consider myself very fortunate to have spent the time with them at the farm and some of our adventures including the car races in Michigan.

My deepest condolences to the Atkinson family on the passing of Roy. Roy and Serina were at our wedding 19 years ago. For my husband and I to kiss you had to come up front and sing a love song. Roy and Serina came up to show us how to kiss. It was very funny. Roy knew me and family for a long time. I hope him and Serina are together again. Rest in Peace Roy.
