Ross Elmer Lawrie passed away peacefully in his sleep, at King Nursing Home, Bolton on October 19, 2015 in his 86th year. Ross leaves his wife of 56 years, Carol Ann, and children Kim (Mark), Pamela (John), Stephen (Michelle) and grandchildren Bryan (Vanessa), Matthew, Michael, Lawren, Connor and Ethan. Ross retired from North York Hydro and enjoyed 20 years living and golfing at Greenbriar in Alliston. Ross will be remembered always by his friends and family for his unabating sense of humour and quick wit. He always wanted to win the lottery but never did but those who knew him are the real winners, lucky to have him in their lives.

As Ross requested, a private family service was held at Egan Funeral Home, Bolton (905)857-2213.

Donations in memory of Ross may be directed towards the Parkinson’s Society of Canada or Juvenile Diabetes Canada.
