Born on June 12, 1946 in Bell Island, Newfoundland, long time resident of Bolton, Ontario. With her family by her side, she passed peacefully away on Saturday, August 7, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Guy Joseph Breen. Cherished mother of Corinne (Mark), Kim (Randy), Guy J.R. (Sonia), John, Bradley, Paul, Melissa (Enzo) and Ian (deceased, May 7, 2021). Proud grandmother of Dion, Jacob, Rachelle, Guy 3rd (Jennifer), Lindsay, Cassandra, Levi, Aaren, Natalie, Adam (Sydney), Dallas, Eddie, Tyson, Sydney, Harley, Jersey, Cheyenne and great-grandmother of Autumn, Aubree, Hudson, Dalton, Oliver, Jackson, and Malcolm. Rose was fur mommy to Diesel and Mack. She will be missed by her many friends and family.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Monday from 5 – 8 o’clock. Please click the link to register a time.
A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday morning, August 10 at 10 o’clock. Please click the link to register to attend the funeral service. The service is limited to 75 attendees including family members.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your Mom. While I didn’t know her very well, I do know Melissa- someone who is kind, overly generous and would do anything for those she cares about and loves, which is a testament to the kind of mother Rose was. There’s no doubt that she’s with Ian and your Dad now. Our deepest condolences to Melissa and the entire family during this very difficult time.

I’ve known Rose since 1969 … she was a very close friend of my mom Jean Thompson…she was always a good person and a lot of fun to be around. I am so sorry to hear of her passing …my thoughts and prayers are with her family during this very difficult time… may she rest in peace now…
