Died peacefully at his home in Brampton on Wednesday, September 9, 2009, in his 81^st year.  Ron Glide, partner, friend and companion of Sarah M.E. (Sally) McMaster and estranged husband of Beryl S. Glide.  Ron will be sadly missed by his children Marion and husband Tom Petersen, Keith Glide and Michael Glide and his grandchildren Ian and Suca Petersen and Andrew Petersen.  Remembered by his niece Lynn Lloyd and nephew Paul White.  Sincere thanks to the special friends and caregivers who were a wonderful support during the last several months.  A private memorial reception will be held at the Egan Funeral Home, Bolton (905-857-2213).  Cremation has taken place.  Condolences for the family may be offered at www.eganfuneralhome.com
