Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville on Monday, May 12, 2014, Ronald Norrie, in his 80th year, beloved husband of Madeleine Norrie. Loving father of Ken, Brian (deceased), Steve, Karen (deceased), Dave and his wife Donna. Cherished grandfather of Gregory and Thomas. Dear brother of Clarice, Gerald, Betty and Marion.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Wednesday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock.
Memorial service will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning, May 15 at 11 o’clock.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

We were so sad to hear about Ron’s passing. We all have great memories of him throughout our lives. Ron was always ready with a smile and a quick joke. He touched our hearts in many ways. I just learned of Ron’s passing in the Enterprise or I would have been there, Madeleine.
I always enjoyed chatting with Ron when we were both in the Works Department at the Town of Caledon.

I’m so sadness hearing about Ron,,,But its with great joy I will remember him. Many, many fun time with the Caledon East Firefighters…..its the quiet ones ya got to watch…..hahahah It was also wonderful to see him at the north hill ball parks in Bolton over the years watching his grand children. Madeleine…big hug comin your way next time I see you.
While working for the Town, I always found Ron to be a very happy and content person. He spoke with great pride about you, Madeline, and his children. My sincere condolence.
