My condolences to all of Ron’s family. He was a very gentle, loving , giving man.. He followed through with his promise to my husband to get me around and he did the last few years, we had a real nice time especially at the waters edge at different places… He certainly kept me entertained with his humour. He always talked about Brenda and how he also missed his best friend , my husband John, well now he is with them both… he really will be with us all in spirit, and so very missed. Think of him always and talk about his accomplishments in life and you will be consoled. All my very best to the family, Sandy

Ron will be greatly missed by friends but especially by family. He has rejoined his life long partner and I’m sure they both will be watching with pride as their children and grandchildren grow. Condolence from Pauline Campbell on August 4th, 2019 6:35 pm

Our condolences. Ron was a great family friend and always there no matter what. He would come pick up my parents John and Sandy Blackmore and take them for a drive not sharing the end destination with them. He really helped lift my Dad spirit as he was fighting cancer and the trips out of the house really helped them all I’m sure. He was a true friend when others said it was too hard to see my Dad in distress. Ron was an honest caring man. Bless you all in this difficult time.
Pauline and Cory Campbell

Condolence from Larry Chapman on August 6th, 2019 8:51 am

Michael, Angela and Crystal:

I am so sad to hear that your Dad has passed. He and your Mother had such a zest for life. Ron could always make me smile or laugh. His sometimes amusing and sometimes provocative comments, followed with a wry smile or his mischievous look, revealed a mind that was always looking for ways to see the humour or the irony of a situation. It also showed how he liked to occasionally stir the pot.

Deepest sympathies. Sorry I am missing his funeral service.
