It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Romano Parmentola, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who departed this life on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the age of 84. He is survived by his devoted wife, Annamaria, and his cherished children, Catello, Angela and Massimo as well as his daughters-in-law Filomena Parmentola and Alba Parmentola, and his son-in-law Joe Iaboni. Romano was a source of love and inspiration to his grandchildren: Matthew, Jordan, Annalia, Michael, David, Romina, Amelia, and Christian. He found immense joy in watching them grow and thrive, and his legacy will continue through their lives. Known for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering support, Romano touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He had a deep passion for animals, nature, farming and growing vegetables and plants in his greenhouses all years round. Once the sun rose you knew where to find him daily. He always was ready for an espresso and a series of card games with his grandchildren showing them and teaching them traditional card games. His deep love for his family will always be remembered. He left a lifetime of memories with everyone he met. We will cherish you always and continue to make you proud daily.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 o’clock.
Funeral Mass will be held in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 11873 The Gore Road, Brampton on Friday morning, October 4 at 11 o’clock.
Entombment Assumption Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga.
