I wanted to send my condolences to Sue and family! I have such fond memories of Roger. Growing up I remember him at our house in Caledon, hunting with my dad and the rest of the boys. We would also often go to their place, watch a movie on their big screen TV and eat his black jelly beans. Something I still love to this day thanks to him. I even bought my first car from him at Number 9 Auto. He always treated us as if we were family and I will forever cherish all my time we spent together. RIP Sweet Roger! Give my mom a hug for me.

My deepest condolences to Sue and family. Roger was such a good man, and I have many wonderful memories of time with him and Sue. He was a caring, giving person with a great sense of humour, and always ready to give a hand to anyone who needed it. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Our hearts are heavy with your grief Miss Susie, Roger’s journey has ended and he has arrived at a better place. We will miss him terribly, but our happy memories will last forever!

I’ll miss Roger’s distinguishable laugh and the twinkle in his eye. Sue you and Roger always welcomed us into your home. and I treasure those memories. I wonder if Marvin and Roger are fishing buddies now up in heaven. My sympathies to the rest of Roger’s family also.

The Fast family sends heartfelt condolences. What great memories of our times on Bartley Drive. So many parties, fishing and hunting events and gatherings. He will be remembered for his love of life and strong bonds of friendship. Truly a great friend and believer in ‘live, love, laugh’ philosophy.

It has been a few years since we last saw each other but I will always remember the good time we had together on Hay Island for many years.

Roger was truly a one of a kind. I learned so much working with him at the wrecking yard, about business and about life in general. He could balance the serious business side and the fun all in one fell swoop. Never a dull moment. Good memories that I will hold dear forever. Sue. We had many good times at Colpoy’s Bay. Roger was a good man. He never hesitated in offering a helping hand. I remember he came over and and changed a wheel bearing. When I got my new boat he said, “Nice boat but a lousy fishing net. He then deposited a big fishing net in the back of my boat. I could go on. Maybe one day we will be able to connect and toast Roger with Tom & Sandy. Best wishes Sue.

Dear Sue. It is only recently that I became aware of the passing of Roger. A profound loss for you and his family . As well of his many friends. I first met Roger 50 years ago at Belmont Lake where we started to build our family cottage. His insights and advice were invaluable . He taught me how to fish for Muskies, the value of 3/4 inch putty and of course the many strategies of euchre. Oh and of course Adams Antique was involved. We put the water in along with our docks. And of course took them out. His advice and guidance with my cars was also so very much valued and trusted. His smile and laugh were contagious. I shall miss him. I truly valued his friendship and am so sorry for your loss.
