I shall pray for the repose for Roberta’s soul. Roberta was the last of her generation and I recall them all with great fondness.

I am a great niece of Roberta. My mother was Lorna Smith (nee Horner) I remember family visits with Roberta during my childhood. This Fall I had a wonderful visit with her.

Sincere condolences from Gordon Richardson and family. We have many fond memories of visits with Roberta and Aunt Maggie in Orangeville, and later Roberta and Clifford on Highway 10. Dufferin Oaks won’t seem the same without her.

Condolence from Elena Sylvestre on March 16th, 2014 4:17 pm

I will miss Roberta. She was always there to greet staff and visitors at the main entrance at Dufferin Oaks. Roberta could sell any fundraising ticket to anyone walking by her, best sells lady I’ve ever known. Her mind was sharp and had a great memory. I could count on Roberta to be honest and keep me up to date with all current and past events. I will miss the excitement look on her face when she would be waiting for me to come in to work so she could tell me the latest news update. Roberta was a proud and caring person. The first floor at Dufferin Oaks will not be the same without her. She will be greatly missed.
A care giver and a friend at Dufferin Oaks. Elena Sylvestre
