Peacefully, at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, Vaughan, on Monday, August 26, 2024, Robert Simpson, at the age of 74 years, beloved husband for 51 years of Merilyn. Loving father of Amanda and her husband Wyatt, Andrew, Lindsay, and Daniel. Proud grandfather of Sarah, Emily, Chloe, Kaitlin, Madeleine. Predeceased by his brother William. Fondly remembered by Kari Moffatt and Edna Kruse.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Monday, September 9 from 1 – 3 o’clock for a memorial reception.
Interment of cremated remains following at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.

Truly shocked and very saddened to hear of Roberts passing. I don’t think i’ve met a more ” happy go lucky” and genuinely nice person in my entire life. Any time i was at the house he was always smiling and happy. The love for his family was very evident. Take comfort in knowing that his love for you all was crystal clear. Love to all during this difficult time.
