At South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, Bracebridge, on Monday, July 5, 2010, Bob Matson, Bracebridge, formerly of Bolton, in his 62nd year, beloved husband of Susan Glen. Dear father of Cheryl and Jim Dougall, Russell Matson, Cathy Poles and Ronald Matson. Dear stepfather of Christine, Paul Morassuitti, Heather and Matt Hanes. Loving Papa of Cody and Logan; Megan and Cole, Raine and Devon, Erik and Jorja. Dear brother of Murray and Denise, John and Maryanne, Lois, Brenda and Mike, Sharon and Alex, and Linda. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Saturday evening 7 – 9, Sunday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, July 12 at 2 o’clock. Interment Morningside Cemetery, Palgrave. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. So many years have gone by since I have seen you or any of your family members.
I am deeply sorry to hear of Bob’s death. With deepest sympathy, this condolence is sent with fond memories. Life can be extremely difficult at times. Although it is hard today to see beyond your sorrow, may your many, now treasured memories of Bob, help comfort you tomorrow.

Sorry for the lose of Bob it has been quite a while since l have see any of you. My thoughts are with you and your family at the lost of Bob. just remember all the good time as a family growing up.
My thoughts go out to all of you that have to go through this very sad time. Bob was loved by many and will be missed very much. I have many great memories of shared times with Bob and family . You will always have your love and memories and that is what will get you through this. How lucky we all were to have such a man in our lives, he had a way of making everyone feel special.
