Fond memories of Phyllis from our June UCW gathering in Alliston, visiting in the car and hearing about the trip to the Grand Canyon. Phyllis kept me updated on the family news after I had met so many when Ken passed away. She would name you in our Sunday prayers.
Ken lived the grace of being a cancer survivor. A song of special meaning for them, “Go Now in Peace.” Together they embodied the God’s gift of peace. Phyllis will be missed. I am grateful that I had those years as their pastor.

Dear Blanche,Catherine, Glenn, and Family:
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Phyllis, she was a wonderful addition to the Cooks Service Station staff for many years. Phyllis was the early riser along with Blanche that every morning at 5:30 Am. the coffee would be perking and there most likely was a line up at the door waiting for them to open, no matter how tired or bad people felt, she was always there to cheer you up, and if you did by chance come in and not see her out front, why you wouldn’t have to look too far to find her, she’d more then likely gone back to the kitchen to help Blanche with the lunch prep. Sandwich fillings. (the egg salad ) was the best. And the baked pies “the Best” She and Blanche along with Edgar’s help ran the famous corner in Sandhill, with so many of the local Teens going to her for their first jobs too many of us to remember, We will miss you and remember you in our own special ways, RIP my friend and coworker, you were always so special to me. Love you and I’ll miss you lots.
Big hugs to all of you this weekend, we’re so sorry for your loss. Allan & Jennifer
A classy lady and a friend to all.
Rest in piece !
You are in our thoughts, sending our deepest sympathies from the Bland family.

We are very sorry to hear about the death of Phyllis who we first got to know through the church and later though her husband Ken while he was with Bolton Ambulance and the cemetery board. Phyllis and Ken were a great couple and enjoyed many adventures together. You couldn’t meet a friendlier person than Phyllis. She will be missed.
Bruce & Ruth & families, Sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. ( & grandma) She was a very sweet lady, & my last memory was running into you Ruth & her in town, where we shared a few laughs & caught up after not seeing each other for many years. It was nice to hear she had you helping her all the time with things Ruth when needed. She looked great & seemed very happy. May you find peace knowing she’s at rest now, back with your dad. Take care.
Sincere sympathy to the McMullan and Piercey families. Fond memories of fuelling up at Cooks on the way to work- along with a muffin . Phyllis and Blanche always had a cheery hello.
May Phyllis rest in peace.
