It was with great sadness that we heard of Philippe’s death. Having known him for over 36 years, we will miss our visits to Pine Hills, his garden, luncheons and our Christmas get togethers.

Philippe will be missed by our family. He was a great man dedicated to his family, friends and church.

Philippe was such a generous and kind neighbour. He always received us with a smile on his face and was generous to all of our causes. He was extremely generous to all of our children. They loved going there to ask for his support. A neighbour like him is always cherished, we will miss him.

Philippe touched my life in a very special way and he will be missed by many.

It was with great sadness that I learned of Phillippe’s death. Although aware of his illness, this seemed very sudden. My heart goes out to all of his family and friends who will truly miss this kind and faithful man. My mother, Anita Finch, has told me a great deal about his kindness and thoughtful giving to many in need. My only regret is not having met him personally. Phillippe’s most recently supported my wife’s mission trip to Russia to assist in the development of a Christ centered AA program is a testament to how many he truly touched around the world. We love and will truly miss him.

Philippe was a truly a wonderful cousin and although we lived far apart there was always a special connection.
He had a great sense of humor and his life was lived with strong conviction and faith. There were no lines of distinction with Philippe. He treated everyone the same and he always had concern for others. He was very generous to all and he was very supportive of my family, helping us along the way.
I am grateful that his death came in such a comforting way as he has had great difficulty over the past few years.
He was the brother that I never had.

I was saddened to hear about Philippe. Though I had only met him at my art shows the last number of years, he seemed like such a lovely man. It was always so good of Philippe and Keith to come out and see what we were doing and support us with their kind recognition. I’d like to express my condolences to Keith and to Philippe’s family and friends.

I was sad to hear the news of Philippe’s passing. He was always such a kind & interesting gentleman. He was always generous and brought delicious fresh veggies from his beloved garden to me at the office. I think as soon as he returned each winter from Bermuda, he was already looking through the seed catalogues for new ideas.
I send my deepest regards to Keith, who has showed such care and concern throughout. To Philippe’s family, my condolences.

I feel truly blessed in my life to have know Philippe. His kind spirit and true appreciation for the people in his life was recognized and felt. Although I am very sad at his sudden passing, I believe in my heart that he is at peace now and continuing to watch over those he loved. My heart and love goes out to Philippe’s dear friend Keith. Thank you so much for all you did for Philippe, you are a special man and I am honered to know you.
