On Thursday, April 30, 2015 Paul went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Absent from the body, present with the Lord. He is the loving husband of the late Olga (nee Seniuk) (July 2014) and is survived by his children Weldon Basaraba, Wayne Basaraba and Aileen, Beverley and Adam Okonowski, and by his loving niece Helen/Bob Brandon. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart. His grandchildren are Tricia Walsh, Weldon Basaraba Jr., Mark/Shelley Basaraba, Michelle/Neal Haggarty, Warren/Dawn Okonowski, Stephanie/Mark Matheson, Raymond Okonowski and Tara Basaraba. His great grandchildren are Siobhan, Weldon Jr., Sarah, Isaiah, Samuel, Noah, Summer, Trinity, Phoenix, Jack, Owen, David, Michael, Jacob, Gracie and Emma.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Wednesday morning, May 6 from 11 o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 12 noon.

After a reception at the funeral home, interment Morningside Cemetery, Palgrave.
