My deepest sympathy for your loss. I have known you Roberta all my life and Paul for most of it too. I remember being your flower girl and messing one of your pictures of the two of you by peeking through the curtain and being on the picture. It has been a joy having you in our lives and always welcoming everyone either on the Gore Road or your place in Florida. We shared so many happy times together, ( and a few secrets through our growing up years ) When you married Paul he became my big brother. He was always there with a lending hand, and of course a joke or two to make us laugh. We will truly miss him. I always said that you and Paul where joined at the hip. I loved when we went to dances with you both that Paul would never sit still. He loved to dance, but only with you, and when I think of you two , I can only sing in my heart and mind

My condolences to Aunt Roberta, Kathy + David, Rob + Natalie and your amazing families.

I will remember every wonderful thing about Uncle Paul, but the two things that wash over me, as I write this, are his generosity and his curiosity.

From a very young age (and because he had so many animals on the farm), Uncle Paul would always randomly say to me: “….do you want a cat ?”, or “….do you want a dog ?”, or, my personal favourite “…..do you want a horse ?!” If I was not living in a subdivision for most of that time, and out of the house for about 12+ hours most days, I may well have taken him up on any of those beautiful animals !

As for his curiosity, I always enjoyed telling him a story and then waiting to hear him say “….you’re kidding !” I can still hear him saying it now (in his distinctive, deep, uncle Paul voice) and, I will continue to hear his voice in anyone who may say it to me in the future.

He was a part of my life, since my beginning, and I will cherish the memories and love him forever.

Aunt Roberta, Rob and Kathy….hold each other, and your families, tight over this next period and take comfort in the fact that he is still watching over all of you.

Dear Aunt Roberta, Kathy + David , Rob + Natalie and your families,
We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our great uncle Paul. He was a truly kind and generous man who always made family feel welcome.

One of my fondest memories is visiting Uncle Paul and Aunt Roberta in Florida. They welcomed me + my daughter Katie, into their home with open arms. Paul’s generosity extended far beyond his hospitality. He trusted me to use one of their vehicles while I was visiting, and he always made sure we felt comfortable and cared for. During that visits I also learned how to play Skibo with Paul, Aunt Roberta, and their neighbours—times filled with laughter, friendship, and wonderful memories that I will always treasure.

Paul loved his animals, especially his horses, and he always enjoyed having my kids come out to see them. His love for animals was something we shared, and it was easy to see how much joy they brought him.

We will miss him dearly, but we are grateful for the memories, the laughter, and the kindness he shared so freely. Our thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Roberta and all who loved him.

Rest in peace, Uncle Paul. You will never be forgotten.

Dear Aunt Roberta, Kathy and David, Rob and Natalie and your families.
We are so very heartbroken to hear about uncle Paul’s passing. It’s truly the end of an era – all my memories growing up were of family gatherings, and at those family gatherings – we shared laughs and meals with you all. Uncle Paul was always quick with a joke and a wink. He always made sure you were looked after, and generous with his time.

Michael, I’m so sorry for your loss. Your family has always been close to my heart growing up, and hearing this really hurt. Please give my condolences to Rob and Natalie as well. Thinking of all of you during this difficult time. If you need anything at all, I’m here.

In the very early 1960’s Paul and Roberta Pfundt built their lovely home on the Gore Road across from our dairy farm.
They along with their little girl Kathy and later Robbie made the old one room schoolhouse property their forever home.
They were the best neighbours you could imagine for over 40 years till my parents passed and John and Jackie moved to Bolton
