It is with insurmountable sadness that the family of Paul Moratti, born the 22nd of November of 1962 in Toronto, died peacefully on the 7th of August, 2026 in Matthews House Hospice. In his last moments, Paul was surrounded by the comfort of his family. He will be deeply and gravely missed by his family and friends.
A beloved father, brother, son, grandfather, uncle, and friend, Paul would want to be remembered as the life of the party. Paul was rarely seen without a smile on his face, and a drink in his hand. Paul had a warm aura that enveloped everybody who had the pleasure of knowing him. Paul worked as an electrician for many years, and took great pride in his work.
Paul passed away from Huntington’s disease, a rare but fatal neurodegenerative condition that affects the motor skills, the control of the body, and psychology of the patient. Paul had been diagnosed with this condition, and fought a brave twelve years. The family would like to raise awareness for this disease in his name.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S. (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Monday evening from 5 to 8 o’clock.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday morning, August 11 at 11 o’clock. Followed by cremation.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to Matthews House Hospice Foundation, 131 Wellington Street East, Alliston L9R 1G7
