Peacefully at Avalon Care Centre, Orangeville, on Sunday, March 27, 2016, Patricia Menary (nee Stewart), in her 83rd year, beloved wife of the late Alf Menary (2012). Loving mother of Don of Orangeville, Doug and his wife Cheryl of Smiths Falls. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) on Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, March 31 at one o’clock. Spring interment Greenwood Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Parkinson Society Canada, 316 – 4211 Yonge Street, Toronto M2P 2A9 (www.parkinson.ca). Mom and Dad told me about your mother. Please accept my condolences at this difficult time for your family. I began reminiscing about the Sunset Drive days and the best rink in town in the Menary back yard! Your parents were quite a team with your dad maintaining the rink and your mom always offering hot chocolate for the neighbourhood kids! Being one of the only girls, your mom gave me special treatment! Fond memories of a wonderful person! Take good care,

I just saw the notice that you have lost your mother. I remember she was already in Avalon when Alf died so you have had a long haul. I know what that is like. I wish I could get up and see you both but I don’t drive any more and I don’t think there is anyone around here who knew her. Please know that my thoughts are with you and I am truly sorry. she was a lovely woman.
