Peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Antonietta for 49 years; loving father of Dino D’Alessandro (Rita), Pia D’Alessandro-Gharibo (George), and Rosanna Lombardi (John); and cherished Nonno of Devany D’Alessandro and John Gharibo. Nunzio was a hard-working, gentle-hearted man, who had a passion for soccer and treasured his family. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by siblings Domenica Antonia Sabatino (Pasquale), Palmino D’Alessandro (Nunzia) and predeceased by Vincenzo D’Alessandro (Graziella), Domenico D’Alessandro (Nunziatina), Giovanni D’Alessandro (Carmela), and Clemente D’Alessandro (Maria).
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street South (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Tuesday, April 19 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton on Wednesday, April 20 at 11 a.m.
Entombment at Glendale Memorial Gardens, 1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke.

Rosanna And D’Alessandro Family. We Are Very Sorry For The Loss Of Nunzio . He Was An Amazing Person And A Pleasure To Speak With. He Started As A Customer And Ended Up Becoming A Friend. He Was An Excellent Painter And Did Some Work At My House. He Was Honest As The Day Was Long. It Was Always A Good Day At The Shop When He Stopped In To Talk. He Will Be Missed.
