I am sorry to see this notice of the passing of Norma. and extend my sympathy and condolences to Roy and their family. While I did not personally know Norma, I go back “,many years” to my times with the Broad family,,,,teaching Roy at Linton School at times when his father Tim was a school trustee…Such a wonderful life for you , Roy , for 54 years with Norma and all the wonderful memories you will have …..Muriel Cairns .

Dearest Norma, Thanks for always being my second mom. I’ll miss you, your kindness, your sweet way, your quiet demeanor. I’m still in shock and don’t want to believe it to be true. No more suffering for your sweet soul, or your sweet family is my only saving grace. I’m sorry you’ll not ever get to grow older with your buddy chasing behind you. As a kid, I was shy and quiet, but I enjoyed sitting in the kitchen listening to you and mom chat at the kitchen table yours or ours. my favorite memory is when you took me apple picking. I didn’t know what I was getting into until we were there, and you had picked 3 bushels so fast then asked where my apples were. I was inspecting each one I added to my bushel and barely covered the bottom until you told me we didn’t have time for that to speed it up.
your passing is an unfortunate reminder that nothing is forever. I wish you eternal peace and tranquility and take comfort knowing you aren’t suffering or in pain any longer. Much love, may you watch over all of us until we meet in the next phase of life one day. Fly high, beautiful angel.
