On August 10, 2017, in Kimberley, Ontario, Norma Arlene Nicholson (nee Lamkin), in her 82nd year, beloved wife of the late Bruce Nicholson.  Dear mother of Gregory (Laurie), Gary, and Leann (Gareth). Cherished Nana of Stefanie, James, Tristam and Madeleine. Survived by sisters Jean Ryman and Margaret Newell, and remembered fondly by nephew David Ryman (Karen), nieces Darlene Sterling (Brian), and Heather Matthews.  Sadly missed by many life-long friends.

At Norma’s request, a private service will be held at Egan Funeral Home, Bolton, Ontario. In Norma’s memory please donate to a charity of your choice, or to the Dr. Christine Egan Memorial Scholarship, University of Manitoba (https://give.umanitoba.ca/ or toll free 1-800-330-8066).  This bursary helps nursing students from Nunavut finance their education.  Condolences for the family may be offered at www.EganFuneralHome.com

Dear Greg, Gary and Leann,
I am so sorry for your loss.
Moms are special people, especially ones like yours.
She was an amazing lady.
Her caring nature, the strength and love she had for her loved ones and family,
so much pride in each of her children and grandchildren.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful friend and we will miss her. Regretfully we only found out today of her passing and wanted to give you our condolences. I worked for many years with your dad at Westview Secondary School and my wife and I remained in touch with your Mom every Christmas. Her friendship meant a lot to us. May God comfort you all in your time of grief.
