Burrell Web

Noel Burrell entered peacefully into the presence and full glory of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Monday, September 5, 2022.   We grieve because of separation, loss, pain but have hope in a future reunion.  We find comfort in knowing Noel is in a better place, without pain, suffering or limitations.  He leaves behind his wife of 24 years, Jennifer Burrell, his two sons Garrett and Isaiah.  Noel was a loving son of John and Renee Burrell and brother of Kim Lavalle.  Cherished nephew of George Dailide, Eric Dailide, Andy Dailide, and Paul (Pat) and Lynn.  Dearly loved son-in-law of Coby and Herman Schakel, brother-in-law of Mary-Ann (Albert) Kooy, Ed (Sara) Schakel, Karen Schakel, Kim (Chad) Skolny, Jacqueline (Ben) Bartels.

Graveside service will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery, 389 Centenniel Drive, Bolton on Saturday morning, September 10 at 9 o’clock, followed by a service at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 5750 King Road, Nobleton at 10:30 o’clock.

In lieu of flowers please donate to ALS Society of Canada (www.als.ca).

Dear Kim,

I am saddened to read about your brother’s passing.

It touches me especially because I actually met him one day (you brought him into the office) – he looked to me like a calm and easy going guy.
And because he leaves behind two young sons.

Otherwise, I hope you are well.

Sincerely,
Claude

Condolence from Brady Weening on September 10th, 2022 8:10 pm

Dear Jennifer Garrett and Isaiah and family my condolences on your loss of your husband father etc

I know your uncle Albert and aunt Mary Ann and their kids (cousins) I was also at tdch when Garrett was there . Here is a passage I’d like to share with you it’s a favourite of mine when grieving a loved one 13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.
14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.
15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.
16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
18 Therefore encourage one another with these words. https://esv.org/1Thess4.13-18
