Peacefully, at his home, on Thursday, February 18, 2016, with his family by his side, Nicolino DeFrancesco, in his 80th year, beloved husband of Liana Fiorino. Loving father of Frank and Linda, Nando, Rosa and Frank DeFrancesco. Proud Nonno of Andrea, Nicolino, Nicolas, Liana, Cosimo and Pina. Predeceased by his loving parents Angela Rosa and Francesco DeFrancesco. Dear brother of Vittoria and Dominicangelo Albanese, Mary and Salvatore Sturino, and predeceased by Pompilio and his wife Maria. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank-you to the nurses of Spectrum Healthcare and Dr. Gagnon for their excellent care and compassion, and to Father Vito for his continuous compassion and leadership.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Saturday evening 7 – 9 o’clock and Sunday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Funeral mass will be held in St. Patricks Roman Catholic Church, 11873 The Gore Road, Brampton (Wildfield) on Monday morning, February 22 at 10 o’clock (leaving funeral home at 9:30 a.m.). Entombment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Woodbridge.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Rebuild of St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 11873 The Gore Road, Brampton L6B 0B2. Condolences for the family may be offered at www.EganFuneralHome.com

The sweetest and kindest people I know. I was lucky enough to of had him as My godfather. Patino Nicola will be sadly missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.

My sincere condolences to the family. I have great memories of Nick when I was a young boy. I especially remember fishing for smelts on lake simcoe while at his cottage. And I cant forget how courages he was trying to ride Nando’s little Honda motor cycle. He fell off and laughed. A great man.

Hi I’m Gordon Defrancesco one of Nicolino grand children I never got a real chance to no my Nono cuz I never really seen my father (Nando) after I turnd 7 but I rember my Nono giving me watermelons and stuff when we went to see him only have good memeiores of him I wish I got to see him before he passed I’m still trying to contact my sister Liana that I haven’t seen since I was just a little kid!
