Suddenly on Sunday, May 9, 2010, Neil Zimmer, Bolton, in his 33rd year, loving fiancé of Nikki Long. Beloved son of Bryan and Mary Zimmer, Bolton. Dear brother of Lesley Zimmer and wife Liz Macri, Toronto. Devoted grandson of Anne Thornell. Dear son-in-law of Charles and Barbara Long. Brother-in-law of Steven and Lesley Long, Joanne and Craig Giles. Cherished uncle of Megan, Kaitlin, Ethan and Michael. Dear nephew of Martin and Rebecca Thornell, Warren and Pam Zimmer, Kenny and Edna Zimmer. Cousin of Lydia, Monica, Jennifer, Aaron, Sophie and Michael. Will be sadly missed by his furry friends Mojo, Scootchman, Oscar and Sofie.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Wednesday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock.

Funeral Mass will be held in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton on Thursday morning, May 13 at 10 o’clock (leaving funeral home at 9:45 a.m.).

Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Caledon Animal Shelter, 12889 Coleraine Drive, Caledon L7E 3B5. Parish prayers will be held on Wednesday at 8:30 o’clock. Condolences for the family may be offered at www.EganFuneralHome.com

Jill and I were deeply saddened when we heard the sudden and tragic news from Les. I cannot imagine the loss of my own brother or my son, so I have no idea what you all must be going through. I wish Les, her family, and all of Neil’s loved ones, a huge amount of strength and support. We are thinking of you during this time.

I just read the shocking and unbelievable news about Neil. I can still see his smiling face as we shared our time together in elememtary school at PJPII. Neil was kind, thoughtful and fun to be with….a real joy!!

My heartfelt symphathy goes out to Brian and Mary on the loss of their son and to his fiance. Brian was the funny guy who had us all laughing at the bank with the funny stories he used to tell us(;about being a monk in Tibet) and many many more. He will be missed by many. Jackie
