Hi,
We’ve never met, Barb, but I wanted you know how much I liked Neil. My son, Greg, and he were very good friends. I didn’t see Neil often, but when I did he was always so pleasant and friendly.
We’ll miss him.

To Barb and Paul,
Sending our deepest condolences to you and all of your family. Our family, Dan, myself, Jackie, and our boys were neighbours of Neil. Neil and Dan were close friends. Neil was a part of our family and spent lots of time at our home with us and our sons. He was the most considerate kind person towards all of us, he spoke very much of his family and particularly you Barb. He loved you very much. This loss is heartbreaking, and my deepest sympathy goes out to you and to all that knew Neil. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Neil will be missed very much.

I wondered about him often. Another Bramalea boy gone too soon.
I found his obituary today as he crossed my mind.
I’m sorry he suffered alone.
Neil…you struggled for as long as I remember, like so many of your friends.
Sadly, you were overshadowed by a spiteful sibling who saw the resuls of your illness as ‘shameful’ to the family.
Please know that you were liked and remembered.
Rest in power my friend.
