Condolences for the family of “Murray Grant Barons”

Condolence from Raymond Hultay on August 11th, 2014 9:18 pm

Please accept our condolences to the family and special friends of Murray on behalf of my wife Lois and myself..

We came to know Murray as a close friend of Jack and Sylvia Masters, our brother and sister in-law. My personal experience with Murray goes back to a special time when Murray was an impassioned dancer. We enjoyed many social events where I was very involved with our Mississauga community. Murray was very personable and enthusiastic in sharing his talents with others. For these memories of Murray I give special thanks.

We will miss meeting Murray for breakfast and sharing our great love of aviation and cars. The conversation was also brilliant and never a dull moment.

So saddened to hear of Murray’s passing – tried several times to reach him over the past few months and couldn’t get an answer. So many happy memories; how he loved to dance which is where I first met him through an evening ballroom dancing class. He became a good friend of my family, shared many an interesting talk over breakfast at the Golden Griddle including his love of the latest car he was restoring to UFO’s to the latest thought provoking book he had just read. And how he loved the time he spent at his cottage.Murray also never failed to call me on my Birthday.
Murray was a caring, genuine friend and I’m going to miss him.
